Introduction

Ira Stephen Saul hails from Reading, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College and Juris Doctor degree from American University Law School, where he was a Member of the American University Law Review.

He is admitted to practice in Virginia and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Saul is the recipient of Institute of Real Estate Management Certificates of Appreciation, and is a subject of biographical interest in the official Marquis’ Who’s Who in American Law.

Saul has served as a lecturer to the Fairfax County Bar Continuing Legal Education program on real property litigation, to the Institute of Real Estate Management on legal aspects of real property management, the Northern Virginia Apartment Association on landlord - tenant matters, and to technology industry groups on topics of current interest in the law of information technology.

Among his current memberships, Saul is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Real Property Section and Intellectual Property Section; Fairfax Bar Association  where he chairs the Law Library Committee; and the Northern Virginia Apartment Association.

Throughout his career Saul has pursued varied business endeavors including real estate development, ownership of professional baseball teams, and development of computer companies.
